    Coyotes are very good swimmers. Coyote moms have 3 to 12 pups int he sprint and they are taken care of by their mom and dad until they learn to hunt for themselves in the fall.

    Domelike beaver homes are called lodges and made out of sticks and mud.

    An interesting fact is that beavers have transparent eyelids,which is like using goggles when swimming.

    Eastern gray squirrels live to be about 12.5 years old. SOPHIA!!!

    Muskrats have a total body lenght of 12 and a half inches.Mustrats tails are flat and scaly, and are 9 inches long. Muskrats have dense fur that traps air.

    Red foxes live in forest,grasslands,mountains,and deserts.

    In winter foxes meet to mate. A vixen (female) typically gives birth to a litter
    of 2 -12 foxes.at birth red foxes are actually brown or gray

    River Otters can live in freshwater and coastal marine habitats,including rivers and lakes. They can live in a variety of environments.

    river otters can live up to 21 years ,but they
    usally live 8 to 9 years
